Wilderness Beach
Description
One of the most breathtakingly beautiful coastlines in South Africa, Wilderness is home to a swathe of unspoilt, golden sand. The 18km beach boasts a blue flag, life guards (in season), fresh water showers, ablutions and parking. Peaceful and uncrowded in the winter months, Wilderness beach is a mecca for surfers. In summer, it is a sun worshippers heaven, as dozens of colourful paragliders hang in the vast expanse of blue sky overhead.
