This municipal campsite is close to the scenic Herolds Bay Beach and situated just a 15-minute drive from the centre of George. There are 42 grassed sites available, some with shade – and be sure to find the best-level patch along this lush green slope. Six people can be accommodated per site, all with access to power points and clean ablutions. Camp with caravans or tents, as the park is sheltered and less windy than similar areas in the vicinity, with the ocean just 500m away.
