Pirates Creek

Situated on the banks of the Touw River in Wilderness, Pirates Creek offers serene self-catering accommodation amidst majestic hills and pristine beaches.

Guests can enjoy fishing, canoeing, hiking, birdwatching, or a scenic braai experience along the river.  Canoes are provided on-site and guests can paddle all the way to the Garden Route National Park or paddle down to the river mouth.  Just across the N2, guests can take a footpath down to the beach.  The resort also offers a children's playground and shallow swimming pool, as well as a traditional swimming pool.  Pop in at the resort's organic vegetable garden to pick your own fruit and fresh veggies, and little ones can enjoy looking for tadpoles and fish at the pond.

Each chalet features private braai facilities and a deck overlooking the tranquil river, perfect for relaxing, fishing, canoeing, and enjoying a sundowner amidst the natural beauty. Pirates Creek offers eight self-catering chalets, including four single-story chalets with two bedrooms and one bathroom, and four double-story chalets with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Conveniently located at the entrance of Pirates Creek, Joplin's Restaurant can be visited in the evening and is renowned for the best steak in the Garden Route area. The region boasts a comfortable climate, making any time of the year suitable for visiting, whether for a serene winter retreat or a bustling summer holiday.  Guests are encouraged to bring their holiday gear and embrace the leisurely atmosphere of Pirates Creek.
