This route is used for the annual Mountain Ultra Trail 25km run which is one of the  biggest  trails  races in George that takes place in the  last weekend of June

You start  at the top of Outeniqua  pass and the route  takes you through  the Campers  Kloof valley  towards  Herold. The last 10km descent  and the Witfontein forestry  station.
