The Lions Karoo to Coast Mountain Bike Challenge : A Thrilling Off-Road Adventure
The challenge is a 100km off-road race that takes riders from Uniondale to Knysna. Navigating the stunning yet challenging Prince Alfred’s Pass. This endurance event is not for the faint-hearted. Demanding both skill and stamina from its participants. Cyclists who take on the competition will experience breathtaking scenery while they conquer the rugged terrain. As a result, it stands as one of South Africa’s most iconic mountain bike races.
Race Registration and Entry Details
The Lions Karoo to Coast Mountain Bike Challenge has strict registration guidelines to ensure a smooth experience for all participants. Riders can register on 21 September 2024, between 13:00 and 20:00 in Uniondale. For those not staying in Uniondale, a late registration and entry pack collection is available. On 22 September 2024, from 06:00 to 07:30, also in Uniondale. It’s important to note that no new entries or substitutions will be allowed during this late registration. The entry fee for the 2024 event is R780.00, and it includes dinner in Uniondale. Proceeds from the event go to the Lions of Knysna and Uniondale, supporting various community projects. Since only 4500 entries are available, riders should secure their spots early. Additionally, entries operate on a first-come, first-served basis and will close on 25 August 2024.
