Living Desert Plants invites all plant enthusiasts, collectors, and nature lovers to the much-anticipated Second Annual Garden Route Rare Plant Fair, taking place on Saturday and Sunday, 13–14 December 2025, from 09:00 to 15:00, at the beautiful Garden Route Botanical Garden.
This two-day celebration of botanical biodiversity offers a rare opportunity to explore and purchase unique and hard-to-find plants, showcased by a curated selection of specialist growers and vendors from across the region. Whether you’re an avid collector or a curious beginner, the fair promises something for everyone.
Entry to the plant sale is free, offering open access to an extraordinary array of rare and indigenous plant species.
For those wishing to explore the greater beauty of the Garden Route Botanical Garden, entrance is R25 per adult and R10 per child—a small contribution that supports the continued preservation and development of this treasured natural space.
Delicious food and refreshments will be available throughout the weekend from the on-site Italian Bistro, as well as a variety of food stalls, ensuring a festive and relaxed atmosphere for all guests.
