AFRICA SKILLS GEORGE TENS SPORTS & LIFESTYLE FESTIVAL

This event has survived the coronavirus and is simply going from strength to strength. 17-20 December 2024 will mark its fifth curtsy, and prospects are looking good for immense fun. Evolving from a rugby-only sports event,  teams can participate in men’s and women’s rugby, golf, mixed and women’s netball, Touchies, dodgeball, the popular colour run, and fishing. These were all items featured in previous years, but this year, it’s even bigger and better. Participants can now enter for tug-of-war, weightlifting, a Rubex cube championship, darts, line dancing, AND a Mystery Basket Super Chef challenge as well. The main arena is still at Outeniqua Park Rugby Stadion where the Festival Village will be erected to satisfy audiences with top-notch entertainment by famous artists and groups. And what’s more, you can also enter on the day (except for the rugby and netball events), thus, no serious planning or training is needed. All this takes place during the summer holidays, so bring the whole family and join in the fun.
