This year’s art festival is held from 7 to 9 October. It pays tribute to the village’s centenary with its theme “100 Years of Wilderness”. The event rallies the art community and is also a partnership between the business world and artists, as local businesses are involved in showcasing art works. Festivities include an art walk, craft and food market and live music. The “Night of a Thousand Drawings” charity drive also runs again in support of the Seven Passes Initiative’s rural outreach programmes. Draw, paint or doodle an A5 artwork and donate it to be sold for this cause.
